Accessibility statement

Fenix Hotel Roma wants fenixhotel.it to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or other assistive technologies. This page describes the work done and how to contact us.

1. Reference standard

We follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as referenced by the European standard EN 301 549.

2. Our work on accessibility

The website has been developed and checked with the aim of meeting the WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria, which are based on four principles:

  • Perceivable: information and content must be perceivable by all users, whichever senses they rely on;
  • Operable: navigation and controls must be usable in different ways, including with the keyboard alone;
  • Understandable: the content and the way the website works must be clear and predictable;
  • Robust: content must be interpreted reliably by browsers and assistive technologies.

3. Testing

The website has undergone an accessibility audit, with technical analysis and manual checks on desktop and smartphone, in Italian and English. The resulting fixes have been applied and checked on the live website.

Based on the results of this audit, carried out with a high level of accuracy at the time of measurement, the website is compliant with the WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria with a high degree of confidence.

Although testing was carried out on a reasonable range of devices, browsers and configurations, it is not possible to be certain that accessibility is guaranteed on every combination of devices, systems and assistive technologies in existence. This is why every report is valuable to us (see section 5).

4. Third-party content

Some services linked from the website are managed by third parties: the online booking system (Ermes Hotels, reached through the “Book Now” button), the interactive Google Maps map and our social media profiles. The hotel address and directions are also provided as text on the website, and you can also contact us by phone or email to book.

5. Feedback and contact

If you encounter a barrier while using the website, or need content in a different format, write to us stating the page and the problem: we will reply and work to resolve it.

6. Last update

This statement was prepared on 25 September 2026 and will be updated whenever significant changes are made to the website.
