4-star Hotel located in the elegant Trieste neighbourhood of Rome
It was 1960 when Francesca Vaccari and her daughter Marialina decided to open a Hotel in one of Rome’s most elegant neighbourhoods, a residential area called Trieste. They purchased a 1938 building and converted it into a stylish, modern hotel surrounded by foreign embassies and government offices, right in front of the Villa Torlonia Gardens and bordering on the historical centre of Rome. Since then, the Fenix Hotel has been a focal point for this neighbourhood, as for the companies and organizations that are located here, such as the Luiss University, which is right next to the Hotel, and the Sapienza University of Rome. Since 1960 the Fenix Hotel has been run by the Vaccari Family, who, to this day, continue the tradition of the women of the family running the Hotel. Francesca Romana, Isabella and now Anna, part of the third generation, have given the Fenix the refined touch and welcoming atmosphere that sets it apart.
